Each piece of art is priced at £49.99. The Alora project takes 34% of the sale price (£16.99). (That covers the fees costs of the website, infrastructure, recreation and upscaling of art, distribution, marketing and partnerships). We then need to pay for the cost of museum grade paper, production and printing. This costs £8. That means the artist makes 25 on every sale of a piece of art. In our last project, I (Sam Barnett), painted King Charles for his coronation, had 16,000 people participate in the portrait, broke 2 world records and had the final work hung in the National Portrait Gallery. From our portrait of the King, I learned that when people are part of big projects, they see themselves and their futures differently. This may sound daft but right now, lots of people feel alone, confused and unsure where they're headed. That sucks. We created Not Yet Famous so kids could be part of something historic, something they can be proud of, something that could change their life. That's the hope.

When kids see that they can create something, have it celebrated and earn money, it changes what they believe about themselves. We all want our kids to grow up happy and fulfilled. But today, many young people feel anxious and unsure about their future — surrounded by fake role models on social media, pressure to get top grades, and worries about AI taking over jobs. The years between 10 and 19 shape who they become — it’s when their identity starts to form. Yet most schools (and even well-meaning parents) focus on grades and subjects, not on helping kids understand who they are. This can cause issues as there are 3 levels to behavioural change 1. Output - what you get - e.g. grades 2. Process - what you do - e.g. subjects you study 3. Identity - what you believe about yourself Most schools & parents focus on (1) output (grades), and (2) process (what you study). Very little is done on a critical driver of success and fulfilment: Identity formation. Identity is the core driver of lasting behavior change. Reshaping identity has the biggest leverage on someone’s behaviour and habits because it is the foundation from which all actions flow. Helping kids shape their identity — what they believe about themselves — has the biggest impact on their confidence, behaviour, and future success. That's why we created the Not Yet Famous project - so kids see that they can create something that people love, have it celebrated and earn money. This builds lasting confidence, belief and positive self talk at a critical time in their identity formation. When we change how kids see themselves, we change what’s possible for them.
